Do you remember the simple delights of childhood? How a cupcake could make you giggle and as far as you were concerned, polkadots belonged on everything. As I made the passage from child to adult, I found that some of the same things that gave me delight as a child, still brought a smile to my face. The little girl in me, always looking for an opportunity to relive the happiness of childhood. Then having daughters, the perfect excuse.Cupcakes remind me of those happy times – and because cupcake bakeries are popping up all over, it’s given us glorious permission to partake in this delightful pastime! After-all, who doesn’t love a cupcake? The once simple confection, now piled high with frostings and toppings, indulging the child in all of us.It’s the simple things like cupcakes and read more.......

French Flea Market and a pug named Paris









Cindy of Haley's Cottage in Kirkland Wa. put on a great event on Sat. I was a vendor, and we really had a fun group. Amazing talented women. But I really loved "Paris" the adorable pug right next to me. She chased a squirrel, talked to everyone that passed by, and even mumbled "I Love You" to her daddy! She was beyond..so cute!! Fun days with friends











Well a few days ago I took some time off and visited a few friends..old and new! First was Shirley at The Shed Antiques we had a lot of fun visiting and I bought a sign for my Garden Shed entry for my Children's Tea Parties..we are soon to be having.




Then we visited her sister in law Vicki at TheVintageViolets she has the most amazing collection of Fleur Des Li's and french flair items..I did some shopping for sure! What a lovely boutique! Stop by and visit...




The next stop was Kay at The Weathered Rose in Bothell and we spent some time visiting. We met Kay on the trip to the farm Chicks, and we all rode together in the van. It was a hoot!

These are some of the fun pics I have been taking..these are of the vintage trailers of the "Sisters on the Fly Girls" we visited at the Farm Chicks, each one different and unique, set on the edge of the river..how peaceful and FUN!! I'm not a camper at all.. oh my...but I might have a change of heart one day..
