It's Mother's Day this week...I Celebrate me!

I love holidays, especially the ones that are for women. I celebrate my incredible mother who is still such an inspiration to me...in her 80's and still sells Real Estate...but I let my family know..cause I'm their mother....and stretch it out as long as I can.
I have a cute plate I've made with my name on it....I use it all the time, for snacks, for everything AND it reminds my family...who's week it is! What do you do to celebrate YOU this week?

Let me know by May 11, and you'll be entered in a contest to win a "Celebrate YOU plate!! It's an adorable 8" round handbuilt plate!

I love your plate Cindy - and your spirit! It's good to remind us to celebrate ourselves, we don't do that nearly enough! Thank you for that and for always being such a cheerful, energetic, inspiring friend! Love ya girl!! Have a wonderful Mother's Day WEEK!

Cindy-good for you. That's a cute idea. You are so talented. I love the plate. For Mother's Day, my favorite thing to do is go to Long Beach Island with the whole family for a picnic. We have been doing that for a number of years and it is the best! Unfortunately, we can't do it this year, so two of my boys volunteered to come up and stay with DH so I can take a day at the beach by myself--works for me!

I love the idea of celebrating yourself. You are so creative and full of wonderful ideas.

I guess I celebrate myself by allowing myself time to read a good book or magazine. No matter how busy I may be.

Hope your having a fab day.

cindy, way to go! Love that you are celebrating yourself. Not being a mom myself, this week I concentrate on my own mom. Have a great Mother's Day!

Cindy,

What a wonderful idea. And who better to celebrate you than yourself. I'm glad you reminded me to do that.

I'm not a Mom, and my Mom has passed but I can still celebrate! And thanks to you I will.

I could see you are a creative soul. You gave me an idea. I want to create a tag with my name on it.
Maybe a little ceramic piece that I could glue a button or a rinestone on. It would need to be small so I could add it to each item and have a little hole in it for attaching. What do you think? I could celebrate me on every item!
LOL for now this cup of coffee and S&T monday is a wonderful celebration! Lilli

Hi Cindy,
Love that plate. What a great idea for a contest. I celebrate myself by just trying to stay happy. I also try to find as much time as possible to do things I love to do. As far as Mother's Day, I usually just let it happen. That way everyone is relaxed and happy.

Oh Cindy, what a sweet way to celebrate yourself! I would use it year round!lol.. My Mother's Day sounds pretty pathetic...eeek! All of my children live in other states, and I've long ago resigned myself to the fact that my children aren't "into Mother's Day", lol.. I will no doubt do the same thing I do every Sunday, wake up, make my coffee and attempt to login to MMP and greet my sweet Pink friends! Having computer problems so if I get into MMP, it will be a GREAT DAY!!
I hope your Mother's Day is a sweet one!! I'll see you on chat~

You Go Girlfriend!
If we don't remind them, who will?
I told my family that since I have never been taken to brunch or been given one of those corney Mother's Day corsages that you see the grannies wearing to church on Mother's Day, that I want both! I will be all dressed up, waiting for everyone to take me to church and then to brunch and there better be a beautiful corsage in the fridge. Pink roses, of course.

I'm holding my breath....not!

If they don't take me to brunch, I'm taking myself to lunch. :)

Hugs!

I found you through Christine at extra-sprinkles. What beautiful ceramics!! I really like the cupcakes!!
Let's see, I would say I pamper myself by creating things all day, no interruptions, and dinner made just for me to enjoy with my family with no clean up!!
The no clean up is VERY important!!
Have a lovely day!
XOXO
